Singareni Thermal Power Plant gets best performer award

CCL got this award in the category of 500 MW and above power plants which excelled in operations and maintenance

Hyderabad: The Singareni Thermal Power Plant (STPP) owned by the Singareni Collieries Company Limited (SCCL) bagged a South India level “The Best Power Plant Performer” award declared by Mission Energy Foundation, a well-known Mumbai-based non-profit organisation.

This award was declared at the concluding session of a national-wide web seminar organised by the Foundation on Friday. Conferring the award, organisers stated that the SCCL team’s hard work has contributed to this success in the power sector.

About 500 representatives from all over India participated in the seminar. The SCCL got this award in the category of 500 MW and above power plants which excelled in operations and maintenance.

SCCL Chairman and Managing Director N Sridhar congratulated officials and staff of STPP on this achievement and asked them to continue to work with the same spirit.

Earlier too, the STPP got the national-level best fly ash utilisation award in April this year.
