Singareni worker injured in Godavarikhani mine accident

A Singareni Collieries worker was injured in an accident at the Godavarikhani 11 Incline coal mine in Peddapalli on Wednesday morning. He sustained injuries to his wrist and right leg following a sudden side fall after blasting operations.

Peddapalli: A Singareni worker, Ilaiah, was injured in an accident at the Godavarikhani 11 incline coal mine of Singareni Collieries Company Limited on Wednesday morning.

According to workers, coal cutter Ilaiah sustained injuries on his wrist and right leg due to a sudden side fall that occurred after blasting operations.

Other workers immediately shifted him to the Singareni Area Hospital in Godavarikhani, from where he was referred to Hyderabad for better treatment.
