Hyderabad: Expressing solidarity with students and condemning the alleged police lathi charge on students during ‘Chalo Sansad’ march over the NEET UG question paper issue, the Students Islamic Organisation of India (SIO) Telangana organised a gathering near Charminar here on Friday.
SIO Telangana State President Mohammed Faraz Ahmed said the repeated failures, alleged corruption, paper leaks, and administrative negligence associated with national-level examinations have severely undermined the trust of students and parents across the country. He stated that the future of lakhs of students cannot be compromised due to a flawed examination system.
He demanded the immediate resignation of Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan and called for the scrapping of the National Testing Agency (NTA), alleging that the agency has repeatedly failed to conduct examinations in a fair, transparent, and credible manner.
He further stated that repeated examination irregularities have caused immense uncertainty, anxiety, and mental stress among students who dedicate years to preparing for competitive examinations. He also condemned the use of force against peaceful protesters, stating that democratic voices must be heard rather than suppressed.
