Rajanna-Sircilla: The weapon license of BJP district secretary, Reddaboina Gopi was cancelled following registration of two cases against him in connection with the clash between BJP and TRS activists that took place in Yellareddypet police station on Friday night.
The Collector Anurag Jayanthi on Saturday issued orders by cancelling the gun license of Gopi, who reportedly was involved in the clashbetween BJP and TRS workers near Yellareddypet police station on Friday night over abusive comments on social media.
Two cases under section 143, 341, 353 r/w 34 IPC and 307, 448, 148 r/w 149 IPC were registered against Gopi. District Superintendent of Police, Rahul Hegde informed the matter to the Collector.
