Sirpur (T) Congress leader Ravi Srinivas gets show-cause notice

Kumram Bheem Asifabad: The Congress party has served a show-cause notice on Sirpur (T) Congress leader Ravi Srinivas on charges of anti-party activities. Chairman of Disciplinary Action Committee G Chinna Reddy issued the notice on Friday, seeking an explanation from Srinivas within a week.
According to the notice, Srinivas was charged with criticizing the district in-charge minister D Seethakka during a media conference, besides working against the party’s candidate in the recent MLC elections. He was under the scanner for launching a attack against the DCC leadership as well.
Srinivas was asked to give his explanation on or by March 28, failing which it would be construed that he had no explanation to offer and stern action would be initiated against him as per norms and procedure of the party’s constitution. Srinivas was reportedly unhappy with the Congress giving importance to MLC Dande Vittal.
