Sivakarthikeyan’s “Madharasi” to hit the screens on this day
Madharasi marks the actor’s next film after "Amaran" which was a box-office blockbuster.
Hyderabad: Kollywood actor Sivakarthikeyan is all set to return to the big screen with Madharasi, an action-packed thriller directed by AR Murugadoss. The makers have now officially announced that the movie will hit theatres on September 5, 2025, with a powerful new poster.

Madharasi marks the actor’s next film after “Amaran” which was a box-office blockbuster. Naturally, expectations are high for Madharasi, especially since Murugadoss’s last film Sikandar with Salman Khan, didn’t perform well at the box office.
Kannada actress Rukmini Vasanth plays the female lead, while Bollywood actor Vidyut Jamwal will be seen as the antagonist.
Madharasi is produced by N Srilakshmi Prasad under the Sri Lakshmi Movies banner. Music for the film is composed by Anirudh Ravichander. With a solid cast and crew, fans are eagerly waiting to see what Murugadoss and Sivakarthikeyan deliver this time.
