Hyderabad: Six persons allegedly involved in the murder of Mohammed Parvez alias Farhu Don, a rowdy sheeter of Jawaharnagar who was killed at Rein Bazaar, were arrested on Monday. The arrested persons were identified as Shaik Suleman (23), Shaik Feroz (24), Shaik Esha (23), Shaik Awaiz (21), Syed Zameen (20) and Syed Sadiq (38).
Dr Gajrao Bhupal, DCP (South), said the six persons had attacked Farhu Don at Chotapul under the Rein Bazaar police station limits resulting in his death.
“Suleman had a grudge against Farhu as he had snatched Rs 50,000 he won in gambling at Ibrahimpatnam the previous day. To settle the score, he joined hands with Feroz who was waiting for an opportunity to kill Farhu as he suspected him to be involved in the murder of his brother,” the DCP said, adding that Suleman had called Farhu at Chotupul on the pretext of going to Ibrahimpatnam for playing cards.
“When he arrived, all the six attacked him with lethal weapons leading to his death,” he said. The suspects were produced before court and remanded.
