Six held for assaulting jewellery workers in Hyderabad

Hyderabad: The Charminar police have arrested six persons on charges of confining and assaulting three gold shopworkers for allegedly cheating their employer by manufacturing low quality gold ornaments.
A video of the incident started making rounds on social media on Monday. They allegedly took top quality gold from the employer and made ornaments with low quality gold which were further sold to customers.
The incident came to light five days ago, following which the trio was confined and thrashed by their employer and his men in a room. The Charminar police had booked a case for voluntarily causing hurt and nabbed the assaulters.
