Of the six accused, three sexually assaulted her at a private hospital under renovation when she was in an inebriated condition. When the police received a call from a shopping mall at 1.50 am on Wednesday, a police patrol team rushed to the spot and shifted the girl who was in a semiconscious state, to the government hospital in the district.
Nizamabad Commissioner of Police Kartikeya, addressing a press conference, said the victim revealed that she met an acquaintance in Nizamabad on September 28 and three of his friends joined them. They all moved around Nizamabad on two-wheelers, consumed beer and had food.
Subsequently, the four persons took her to a room in the private hospital and two more joined them. On seeing her in an intoxicated condition, three of them took advantage and raped her, police said.
