Six hospitalized after consuming adulterated toddy in Nalgonda

All the six were shifted to hospital and the condition of P. Pitchaiah is said to be serious.

Nalgonda: Six persons were taken ill after consuming adulterated toddy in Perika Kondaram village of Shaligowraram Mandal on Thursday.

All the six were shifted to hospital and the condition of P. Pitchaiah is said to be serious. He was shifted to Hyderabad for treatment.

The other affected individuals, D. Achaiah, G. Rama Chandra, V. Lingaiah, M. Biksham, and K. Naresh were admitted to local hospitals where their condition is reported to be stable. The Excise Department officials are investigation the case.
