Hyderabad: This would come as a whiff of fresh air as six Hyderabad players have been selected to play in the under-19 BCCI men’s one-day Challenger Trophy to be held in Ahmedabad from October 25 to November 10.

The players were selected on the basis of their performance in the recently Vinoo Mankad tournament. India lost in the semifinals.

They are Murugan Abhishek, Bhuwangiri Punniah (both Team B), M Shashank (Team D), Krithik Reddy, 5. Vignesh Reddy, Rishit Reddy (Team E).
