Six injured in road accident in Karimnagar

Karimnagar: Six persons were injured in a road accident  near Chenjarla of Manakondur mandal on Saturday night.

The incident occurred when a lorry proceeding towards Karimnagar from Warangal hit an autorikshaw trolley coming from the opposite direction at  11 pm.

While six persons were injured in the accident, four of them sustained serious injuries. Local people informed the 108 service ambulance and all the injured persons were shifted to district headquarters government hospital.

A total of 15 members were traveling in trolley autorikshaw. Resident of Jayashankar-Bhupalapalli district, the victims were returning to their native places after visiting Vemulawada and Kondagattu pilgrimage centers.

Knowing about the incident, police rushed the spot and began investigation by registering the case.
