Hyderabad: In the juniors category of the 230th Brilliant Trophy Chess Tournament, six players — Sathwik Reddy, Velvendhan, Yuvan Rodda, Snithik Vengala, Sri Samanvith, and Svanik Vengala — are in joint lead with three points from three rounds. Sanathan Nanda and Harini Balina are in second spot with 2.5 points from three rounds, at Brilliant Grammar High School, Dilsukhnagar.

In the open category, seven players — Divit Reddy Adulla, Ritesh Maddukuri, Rama Anjaneyulu, Shreyan Thipparthi, Sarath Kumar Nanda, Visesh Reddy, and Krishna Kalyan — are in the lead with three points from three rounds. Viswa Alakanti, Nigamasree, Gade Vishal, Surya Prakash, and Madhusree Duvvala are in second spot with two points from three rounds.
