Sixty-year-old man dies as TGRTC bus mows down bike in Mancherial

Mancherial: A 62-year-old man was killed on the spot when a TGRTC bus mowed down a two-wheeler in which he was travelling in Luxettipet town on Saturday.

Luxettipet Sub-Inspector P Satish said that Chunchu Lingaiah from Itikyala village suffered critical injuries when the bus dashed against the motorbike, resulting in instantaneous death for him. He was proceeding to Luxetttipet from Itikyala at the time of the incident.

Laxmi, the wife of Lingaiah, lodged a complaint with the police. A case was registered against the driver Kondaiah. Investigations were taken up.
