Skits, dance performances mark Annual Day event

The theme of Annual Day celebrations of Pallavi International School organised recently was ‘Life is Beautiful’ and was presented meticulously through a spectacular performance by the students of pre-primary to grade VII.
The program commenced with the lamp lighting ceremony followed by an invocation dance by Aditi of Grade IV. The chief guest for event was Dr E Ramesh Kumar, IAS, a 1999 batch officer of Madhya Pradesh cadre.
The welcome address and introduction of the Chief Guest was given by the headmistress Grecilda Rose who extended a warm welcome to all. Speaking on the occasion, school chairman Komariah said that everyone who is part of the organization should work towards giving their best.
Academic director Dr Sudha shared her motivational ideas and thoughts. She began with a meaningful shloka-‘ kutumbaka Jeevanam mama’ which means the family is life. She also laid stress upon living our lives to king-size and that she believes in love, peace and happiness. School director Sushil Kumar also addressed the gathering.
During the cultural programmes, students displayed an array of performances in the form of singing, dancing, art, music and drama. Grade VII performed a dance that depicted Naari Shakti. Grade VI came up with a value-based skit- Mobile Mania. The programme was woven around the theme ‘Life is Beautiful’.
