Hyderabad: Skootr, a premium managed office space operator, has created India’s first tropical forest theme office space called Skootr Forest in HITEC City, Hyderabad. The facility, which opened on Wednesday, is spread over 1.2 lakh sq ft space.

The indoor and outdoor office space has around 8,000 plants of 150 species. The facility includes private offices, a managed collaborative space with meeting rooms, and F&B services along with a terrace cafeteria among other offerings.

The centre also has outdoor seating clusters and an art garden with multiple collaborative spaces revolving around nature ensuring a well-ventilated workspace. Some unconventional zones are also provided for mutual interaction and recreation.

Commenting on the facility, Rajat Johar, country head, Skootr said, “With the adoption of global and domestic business-focused policies, well-defined sectors and a plethora of infrastructure initiatives, Hyderabad has seen a healthy growth in office space in the last few years.”

“Analysing the recent developments, behaviour patterns in how employees work and play, Skootr is meeting the future of workspace demand by delivering bespoke offices that resonate with aspirations of today’s dynamic corporate clan,” Johar added.

Skootr has leased over 3.25 lakh sq ft spread across three facilities in Hyderabad- RMZ Futura, now called Skootr Forest, Dallas Centre and My Home Twitza.

The company currently manages over 5.37 lakh sq ft office space across nine centres in Delhi, Gurugram, Hyderabad, and Jaipur.

Skootr offers ‘workspace as a service’ wherein enterprises get the benefits of a hassle-free and fully customised flexible office space, without locking up growth capital in capex.
