Medak: Twelve children had a narrow escape after the roof slab of their Anganwadi classroom collapsed just inches away from them at Kukatlapally village in Kowdipally mandal on Friday.
The children had just entered the classroom when the slab suddenly caved in. Fortunately, none of them sustained injuries. Teachers attributed the collapse to incessant rainfall over the past four days, which likely weakened the structure.
