Smoke develops in running TGSRTC bus in Karimnagar
A TGSRTC bus travelling from Karimnagar to Husnabad emitted smoke near Chapala Colony in Thimmapur mandal on Monday morning. Passengers alerted the driver, who promptly stopped the bus and avoided a potential mishap.

Karimnagar: Smoke emanated from a running TGSRTC bus at Alugunur in Thimmapur mandal on Monday morning.
The incident occurred when the bus was travelling from Karimnagar to Husnabad. When it reached Chapala Colony, smoke emanated from the vehicle.
Passengers who noticed the smoke alerted the driver, who immediately stopped the bus. The passengers were later shifted to another bus.
The driver suspected that the smoke might have been caused due to friction between two tyres after the brakes got stuck.
