Hyderabad: Hyderabad put on a dominant performance against Kerala in a drawn Round 6 match of the Under-14 Boys Inter-State South Zone (Multi-day) Tournament in Pondicherry on Monday.
Smyan Bharadwaj led the charge with a scintillating 137 (20×4, 2×6), while Huzaifa Imran impressed with a classy 126 (19×4, 1×6), propelling Hyderabad to an imposing total of 370/6 in 90 overs.
In reply, Kerala faltered under pressure, folding for just 150 in 64 overs. Sabyasachi Pradhan starred with the ball, claiming an impressive 4/33 to hand Hyderabad a commanding first-innings lead of 220 runs. Forced to follow on, Kerala managed to score 49/2 in 16 overs before the match concluded.
