Hyderabad: Delhi Public School (DPS), Nadergul celebrated Christmas on Dec 23. Keeping in tradition with the spirit of Christmas, the festival was celebrated with much gaiety, fervor and enthusiasm.
The celebration kick-started with the rhythmic performance by the HOPE UC choir. The angelic sounds of choristers, the booming acoustic music got everyone drowned in the festive ambience.
All the staff participated and bonded in the warmth and cheer of the fabulous lilting carol. They sang and jived along with the rhythmic choral music.
The principal addressed the gathering and delivered the message on the importance of generosity and gratitude, giving and sharing and love and forgiveness.
In view of spreading the Christmas cheer and joy among the students, various competitions such as Christmas tree and snowman making, carol singing competitions took place throughout the week.
The season of joy came alive as the young artists and singers of the school took part in it with much passion.
The school came up with the initiative ‘Ek Mutthi Chawal’, a drive to serve the needy and which instills in the pupils the value of the intrinsic reward.
The celebrations ended in the hope of having a promising year leaving behind pain, hatred, fear and worries and taking forth joy, love and peace.
