Socialite Payal Saraf inaugurates Patola Art Exhibition at Banjara Hills

The exhibition features a rich variety of traditional textiles and handcrafted items from across India

Hyderabad: Tollywood film producer and Socialite Payal Saraf inaugurated the 5-day D Sons Patola Art Exhibition at the Labels Pop-up Space, Road No. 1, opposite Taj Krishna.

Speaking at the launch, Payal Saraf said, “It’s wonderful to see a diverse collection of apparel, especially Patola art sarees, pure handloom, and silk products, showcased under one roof in the city.”

The exhibition features a rich variety of traditional textiles and handcrafted items from across India. Collections including Patan Patola, Bandhani, Banarasi, Zari Kota, Kashmiri, Maheshwari, Kanchipuram, Modal Ahimsa Silk, Lucknowi, Ajrak Sarees, Suits and Kurtis, dress material, bedsheets and jewellery.

Organiser of the Exhibition said the expo will run till September 18, offering a vibrant platform for textile lovers and artisans alike. The objective of the exhibition was to promote weavers, encourage and provide a market to the handloom industry.
