Though cricket undoubtedly is the sport of India, craze for football has been picking up among youngsters in recent times.
In Hyderabad too, this rise in interest for football has been conspicuous with more and more youngsters showing keenness in the game.
To cater to the increasing demand of football enthusiasts, Hyderabad has started to get dotted with turfs, most of which turn out to be well equipped and of high standards.
Danesh Mistry, partner of Hotfut Hyderabad, was in Germany for his Masters studies, where he came across football turf.
“I along with friends used to visit football turf there. And that’s how we thought of introducing the same concept here,” he says.
After a friend introduced it in Pune, Danesh brought the concept to Hyderabad.
“I was the first to introduce football turf in Hyderabad and now we have three branches at Begumpet, Gachibowli and Inorbit mall,” he says.
