Medak: Even as family members were preparing for the funeral of a man who died in a road accident, his son attended the Class 10 examination on Friday.

Kummari Nagaraju (45), a resident of Pampbanda village, died in a road accident at Usirikepally in Shivvampet mandal on Friday.

His son, Dhanush, who was preparing for the Class 10 examination, was left in shock after the incident. However, he travelled from Pampbanda to Toopran and appeared for the examination at the Government Boys High School.

The boy said his father had always wanted to see him excel in studies and rise to a good position in his career. He said he wanted to realise his father’s dreams and take care of the family following the untimely death.

Dhanush is expected to participate in the funeral on Saturday afternoon.
