Son kills mother in Chevella, villagers apprehend him
A 42-year-old man allegedly killed his 75-year-old mother in Regadghanapur, Chevella, on Saturday night. Villagers apprehended him after discovering the body and handed him over to police. Authorities have registered a case and launched further investigation.
Hyderabad: A man killed his mother at Chevella in Ranga Reddy district on Saturday night.
The man, Jangaiah, 42, stayed at Regadghanapur in Chevella along with his mother Narsamma (75).
According to the police, on Saturday night, Jangaiah came home in an inebriated state and argued with his mother. He later killed the woman after attacking her repeatedly with a sickle in the house. The incident came to light in the morning and villagers on noticing the dead woman caught hold of Jangaiah and tied him to a pole.
He was handed over to the local police. A case is registered.
