Sonu’s tweet reads, “Yesterday we shifted Hitesh Sharma from Delhi to Hyderabad on an Air Ambulance. He will undergo a Lung Transplant surgery at @YashodaHospital. He’s been a true hero who’s been fighting COVID since April. We need your prayers to get him back hale and hearty. @SoodFoundation(sic).”

It may be recalled that Sood turned a real-life hero when he airlifted a patient Bharti from Nagpur city to Hyderabad for a special treatment on April 23. The Nagpur girl had lost 80 per cent of her lungs after suffering from the virus. She was shifted to a hospital in Hyderabad for the special treatment which was possible only in the city. Unfortunately, the girl died a few days later while undergoing treatment.
