Hyderabad: The number of people Sonu Sood has helped in the pandemic is countless. The actor, who is now called the real hero of India, will start yet another initiative with his sister Malvika Sood Sachar.
Through ‘Moga di Dhi’ (‘Moga ki Beti), the brother-sister duo plans to distribute 1,000 bicycles to schoolgirls and social workers in his hometown Moga, Punjab. The cycle distribution drive will benefit meritorious girls, ASHA workers, and other women who tirelessly work for the society.
The drive took place at the Chawla Marriage Place, Daulatpura Niwan in Punjab on January 4 at 12 pm. It was on the same day that the ‘Dabangg’ star shared pictures of him visiting a temple in Moga. Sonu Sood wrote on Instagram along with pictures of him taking blessings at the shrine, “In my childhood days, I used to visit this temple every day in Moga.”
