Hyderabad: Actor and humanitarian, Sonu Sood has been helping people throughout the pandemic. He has even proved on multiple occasions that he’s just a tweet away. He would come to the rescue of people suffering on the emergency bed, or would gift a tractor to an agricultural worker down south. From installing oxygen plants to shifting patients for a surgery on air, his philanthropic activities stole many hearts.
On Saturday appealed to the public to purchase groceries from small-scale vendors and pushcarts. The actor made a video and shared it on his Twitter handle. He explained how one can get fresh vegetables if bought from road-side vendors.
In the video, Sonu is seen asking details of the two teenagers, apparently from Uttar Pradesh, who are making a living by selling vegetables on pushcart. The actor enquired about them and asked for how long have they been in vegetable business and their nativity. Later, the actor appealed to people to purchase vegetables from small businesses. “Order me for a free home delivery of fresh vegetables. Eat healthy Live healthy #supportsmallbusiness(sic),” Sonu captioned the video.
