South Central Railway extends special trains for Sankranti festival season
South Central Railway has extended special trains to handle passenger rush during the Winter and Sankranti festival season. Additional services will operate on routes including Secunderabad–Anakapalle, Hyderabad–Gorakhpur and Machilipatnam–Ajmer, with halts at major stations across several States

Hyderabad: In order to clear rush of passengers during the Winter and Sankranti festival season, the South Central Railway has extended the run of special trains between various destinations.
Accordingly, Train No 07041 Secunderabad – Anakapalle will run on January 4, 11 and 18, Train No 07042 Anakapalle – Secunderabad will run on January 5, 12 and 19, Train No 07075 Hyderabad – Gorakhpur will run on January 9, 16 and 23 and Train No 07076 Gorakhpur – Hyderabad will be operated on January 11, 18 and 25. Similarly, Train No 07274 Machilipatnam – Ajmer will run on December 21 and Train No 07275 Ajmer – Machilipatnam on December 28.
These special trains will stop at Gudivada, Vijayawada, Khammam, Dornakal, Mahbubabad, Warangal, Jammikunta, Peddapalli, Karimnagar, Lingampet Jagityal, Mortad, Armur, Nizamabad, Basar, Dharmabad, Mudkhed, Nanded, Purna, Parbhani, Manwath Rd, Selu, Partur, Jalna, C Sambhajinagar, Lasur, Rotegaon, Nagarsol, Manmad, Bhusaval, Khandwa, Itarsi, Bhopal, Ujjain, Ratlam, Mandsor, Nimach, Chittaurgarh, Bhilwara, Bijainagar and Nasirabad stations in both directions.
These special trains will consist of 1AC, 2AC, 3AC, Sleeper and General Second Class coaches.
