Hyderabad: As part of the ‘Achhi Aadat’ initiative of the Indian Railways to spread awareness on the importance of inculcating good habits among students, the South Central Railway on Thursday launched the campaign in Hyderabad.
Being taken up in association with Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA), over 200 students and staff from various institutions, including Railway Mixed High School, South Lallaguda, Hyderabad; Railway Mixed High School, Purna, Nanded and Railway High School, Guntakal participated in the programme through virtual conference.
Mala Dhar of JICA hosted the online programme, and counselled the students on hand hygiene and safety precautions to prevent the spread of Covid-19. The children were advised to wear their masks properly and maintain social distance.
Visual components like animations and musical videos were also presented to make the learning process more fun and interesting for students. A total of 94 Railway Schools and Colleges from across India are taking part in this initiative.
