South Central Railway wins energy efficiency awards at CII Summit

South Central Railway won multiple honours at the CII Energy Efficiency Summit in Hyderabad for promoting energy efficiency and conservation. Kacheguda Railway Station received the ‘Excellent Energy Efficient Unit’ award, while five other SCR establishments were recognised as Energy Efficient Units.

Hyderabad: For its efforts towards promoting energy efficiency and adopting energy conservation measures, the South Central Railway has bagged awards at the CII Energy Efficiency Summit held at Hyderabad International Convention Centre (HICC).

Kacheguda Railway Station has been conferred with the ‘Excellent Energy Efficient Unit’ award, while Lekha Bhavan, Central Hospital/Lallaguda and Zonal Railway Training Institute (ZRTI)/Moula Ali have been recognised as ‘Energy Efficient Units’.

Further, Rail Bogie Karkhana/Yadgir and Signal & Telecom Workshop/Mettuguda were recognised as ‘Energy Efficient Units’.
