Mulugu: Superintendent of Police (SP) Sangram Singh Ganpatrao Patil called on top Maoist leader Bade Damodhar’s mother Bathukamma at Kalvapalli village of SS Tadvai mandal in the district on Friday and assured all assistance to her.
Stating that several Maoist leaders and cadre were suffering from Covid-19, he asked them to surrender to the police to get proper treatment. Following this, Bathukamma, who is over 70 years, also urged her son Damodhar alias Chokka Rao, who is the Telangana State Committee member of the Maoist party, to join the mainstream and take care of her as she was suffering from age-related issues.
The SP also handed over some rice, groceries, and cash to Bathukamma. The Central Committee of the CPI Maoists was responsible for the health issues faced by the Maoists since it was not allowing them to get treatment for Covid-19.
