Adilabad: Collector Sikta Patnaik said that Assembly constituency-wise special officers were deputed for implementing the ambitious Dalit Bandhu scheme in Adilabad district.
Sikta, in a press statement, said that the government directed the collectors to identify 100 beneficiaries in every assembly constituency. To achieve the goal, the special officers were assigned with the task of choosing the beneficiaries.
While Zilla Parishad Chief Executive Officer Rajeshwar was deputed as the special officer of Adilabad assembly segment, DRDO Ravinder Rathod was the special officer of Boath constituency.
According to the collector, District Panchayat Officer Kishan was deputed as special officer of Khanapur Assembly constituency, while Utnoor DLPO was appointed as the special officer of Asifabad segment.
The special officers would identify the beneficiaries with the help of local legislators. The list of the beneficiaries would be submitted to the district in-charge minister by February 5.
The IAS officer further said that Assembly constituency, mandal, village-level resource persons would be identified, besides forming committees in these levels. She told the special officials to initiate bank accounts of the beneficiaries by taking assistance from local bankers.
She instructed them to coordinate with officials concerned to ensure grounding of units by March 5.
