Special teams probe rape and murder of tribal woman in Medak

Special teams are investigating the rape and murder of a tribal woman whose body was found near Edupayala temple in Medak. SP D V Srinivas Rao reviewed the case with senior officers and expressed confidence that the accused would be caught soon

Medak: Superintendent of Police DV Srinivas Rao said special teams were formed to investigate the rape and murder of a tribal woman, whose body was found near Edupayala temple in Medak on Saturday.

The SP revisited the crime scene on Monday and reviewed the investigation’s progress with DSP Prasanna Kumar, Inspector Krishna Murthy, and SI Moinuddin. Rao expressed confidence that the accused would be caught soon.
