Special trains from Howrah to Secunderabad, Yesvantpur to clear extra rush

The train No. 02469 Howrah-Yesvantpur Special will leave Howrah o­n Thursdays i.e. on 10.06.2021, 17.06.2021 and 24.06.2021 at 12.40 hrs.

Visakhapatnam: The Indian Railways will run special trains from Howrah to Yesvantpur and Secunderabad to clear the passenger rush. According to Senior Divisional Commercial Manager of Waltair here, the train No. 02469 Howrah-Yesvantpur Special will leave Howrah o­n Thursdays i.e. on 10.06.2021, 17.06.2021 and 24.06.2021 at 12.40 hrs which will reach Visakhapatnam at 01.45hrs (early hours of Friday) and again leave at 02.05hrs to reach Yesvantpur at 20.40 hrs.

In the return direction, the train 02470 Yesvantpur – Howrah Special will leave Yesvantpur o­n Sundays i.e. on 13.06.2021, 20.06.2021 and 27.06.2021 at 05.15 hrs which will reach Visakhapatnam at 23.10hrs and again leave Vizag at 23.30 hrs and will arrive Howrah at 13.25 hrs, the next day.


Composition: This pair of trains will have 16 Sleeper Class and four General Second Class coaches

Stoppages: Kharagpur, Balasore, Bhadrak, Cuttack, Bhubaneswar, Khurda Road, Brahmapur, Palasa, Srikakulam Road, Vizianagaram, Visakhapatnam, Vijayawada, Renigunta, Katpadi and Krishnarajapuram between Howrah and Yesvantpur.

Similarly, train No. 02449 Shalimar-Secunderabad Special will leave Shalimar o­n Wednesdays i.e. on 09.06.2021, 16.06.2021, 23.26.2021 and 30.06.2021 at 12.20 hrs to reach Visakhapatnam at 01.30hrs (early hours of Thursday). It will again leave Vizag at 01.50hrs to reach Secunderabad at 13.55 hrs. In the return direction, the train No. 02450 Secunderabad- Shalimar Special will leave Secunderabad o­n Fridays i.e. on 11.06.2021, 18.06.2021, 25.06.2021 and 02.07.2021 at 04.00 hrs to reach Visakhapatnam at 15.10hrs. It will again leave Vizag at 15.30 hrs to reach Shalimar at 06.05 hrs, the next day.
Composition: This pair of trains will have 20 General Second Class coaches

Stoppages: Santragachi, Kharagpur, Balasore, Bhadrak, Cuttack, Bhubaneswar, Khurda Road, Brahmapur,Palasa, Vizianagaram, Visakhapatnam, Rajahmundry, Eluru and Warangal between Shalimar and Secunderabad.

These trains will have fully reserved accommodation.
