Hyderabad: In order to clear the extra rush of passengers in view of Christmas, the South Central Railway has decided to operate special trains connecting the city to various destinations.
Four special trains will run between Hyderabad and Jaipur from December 26 to January 4. Train number 09737 (from Jaipur to Hyderabad) will operate on December 26 and January 2, departing Jaipur at 3.20 pm and arriving at Hyderabad at 1 am on the second day. The returning train number 09738 (from Hyderabad to Jaipur), is scheduled for December 28 and January 4, leaving the originating station at 3.10 pm and reaching the destination at 5.25 am on the second day.
Enroute these trains will stop at Kishangarh, Ajmer, Chittaurgarh, Nimach, Ratlam, Nagda, Ujjain, Bhopal, Itarsi, Khandwa, Malkapur, Akola, Washim, Hingoli, Basmat, Purna, Nanded, Mudkhed, Basar, Nizamabad, Kamareddy, Medchal and Secunderabad stations. Train number 09738 will not stop at Nagda.
Lingampalli-Kakinada:
Meanwhile, the SCR will also operate eight special trains between Lingampalli and Kakinada Town. Train number 07275 (from Kakinada Town to Lingampalli) is scheduled for December 22, 25, 27 and 29, departing from Kakinada at 8.10 pm and arriving at Lingampalli at 8.15 am on the next day. The returning train number 07276 (from Lingampalli to Kakinada Town) will operate on December 23, 26, 28 and 30, leaving the originating station at 6.40 pm and reaching the destination at 6.10 am on the next day.
Enroute, these special trains will stop at Samalkot, Rajahmundry, Nidadavolu, Tadepalligudem, Eluru, Vijayawada, Guntur, Piduguralla, Nalgonda and Secunderabad stations in both the directions. All the trains will consist of AC II tier, AC III tier and sleeper class and second seating coaches.
