Visakhapatnam: The Railways will run special trains to clear the rush of passengers.
Accordingly, train No. 06185 Trivandrum – Malda Town Summer Special will leave Trivandrum at 18.00 hrs on Saturday, May 8 and on Tuesday May 11 so as to reach Visakhapatnam on the next day at 23.50hrs. The train will again leave Vizag at 00.10 hrs and reach Malda Town at 20.10 hrs, the third day of its journey.
In the return direction, the train No. 06186 Malda Town – Trivandrum Summer Special will leave Malda Town at 19.45 hrs on Tuesday, May 11 and on Friday May 14 to reach Visakhapatnam on the next day at 15.35 hrs. It will again leave Vizag at15.55 hrs and reach Trivandrum at 23.10 hrs, the third day of its journey.
Composition: Twelve- Sleeper Class Coaches, Six- Second Class Coaches and Two- Luggage/ Disabled cum Brake Vans.
Stoppages: Bhadrak, Cuttack, Bhubaneswar, Khurda Road, Brahmapur, Palasa, Srikakulam Road, Vizianagaram, Visakhapatnam and Duvvada stations over East Coast Railway.
Similarly, train No. 07327 Mysuru – Danapur Summer Special Express will leave Mysuru at 21.20 hrs on 07.05.2021 (Friday) and will reach Danapur at 20:45 hrs on 09.05.2021(Sunday).
The one way special will have halt at Visakhapatnam – 19:55/20:15 hrs (on 08.05.2021) and Khurda Road – 01:40/01:50 hrs, Bhadrak – 05:43/05:45 hrs ( on 09.05.2021) over East Coast Railway.
The train will have a composition of 23 coaches comprising 12 Sleeper Coaches, NINE Second Class Coaches and two Second Class Luggage cum Brake – Vans.
Also, train No. 07361 Vasco-da-Gama – Danapur Summer Special Express will leave Vasco at 16.00hrs on 08.05.2021 (Saturday) and will reach Danapur at 20:45 hrs on 10.05.2021(Monday).
The one way special will have halt at Visakhapatnam – 19:55/20:15 hrs (on 09.05.2021) and Khurda Road – 01:40/01:50 hrs, Bhadrak – 05:43/05:45 hrs ( on 10.05.2021) over East Coast Railway.
The train will have a composition of 23 coaches comprising one 2nd AC,two 3rd AC, sixc Sleeper Coaches, 12 Second Class Coaches and two Second Class Luggage cum Brake – Vans.
Passengers have to strictly follow all the safety protocols before and during journey in the wake of COVID-19 Pandemic: wear mask, sanitize/ wash hands frequently and maintain social distancing, a spokesman of the railways said.
