Special trains to handle summer rush

Visakhapatnam: Keeping in view the demand of the passengers, it has been decided by Railways to run Special Trains between various destinations.

Accordingly, a weekly special train No. 06573 Yesvantpur-Tata Nagar Special will leave Yesvantpur on every Sunday at 12.35 hrs from 02.05.2021 which will reach Visakhapatnam at 20.10 hrs on the next vday. It will again leave Vizag at 20.30hrs to reach Tata Nagar at 10.50 hrs on the third day of its journey.

In the return direction, the train No. 06574 Tata Nagar-Yesvantpur Special will leave Tata Nagar on every Thursday at 18.35 hrs from 06.05.2021 to reach Visakhapatnam at 08.35 hrs on the next day. It will again leave Vizag at 08.55 hrs and reach Yesvantpur at 14.30 hrs on the third day of its journey.

Composition: LHB coaches comprising Two AC 3-Tiercoaches, Eight Sleeper Class coaches, Six Second class coaches and Two Motor generator cars.

Stoppages: Tumkur, Arsikere, Kadur, Chitradurg, Bellary, Manthralayam Road, Raichur, Yadgir, Chittapur, Vikarabad, Secunderabad, Warangal, Khammam, Vijayawada, Rajahmundry, Duvvada, Visakhapatnam, Vizianagaram, Rayagada, Kesinga, Sambalpur, Jharsuguda, Raurkela, Chakradharpur stations between Tata Nagar-Yesvantpur.

Similarly, the weekly special train No. 06185 Trivandrum – Malda Town Summer Special will leave Trivandrum at 18.00 hrs on Tuesday , 27th April, 2021 and o­n Saturday , 01st May,2021 which will reach Visakhapatnam on the next day at 23.50hrs. It will again leave Vizag at 00.10 hrs and will reach Malda Town at 20.10 hrs, the third day of
its journey.

In the return direction, the Train No. 06186 Malda Town – Trivandrum Summer Special will leave Malda Town at 19.45 hrs on Friday, 30th April, 2021 and o­n Monday, 04th May, 2021 and reach Visakhapatnam on the next day at 15.35 hrs. It will again leave Vizag at15.55 hrs and reach Trivandrum at 23.10 hrs, the third day of its journey.

Composition: Twelve- Sleeper Class Coaches, Six- Second Class Coaches and Two- Luggage/ Disabled cum Brake Vans.

Stoppages: Bhadrak, Cuttack, Bhubaneswar, Khurda Road, Brahmapur, Palasa, Srikakulam Road, Vizianagaram, Visakhapatnam and Duvvada stations over East Coast Railway.
