Special vaccine drive for potential super spreaders in Siddipet

ZP Chairman said that they will vaccinate journalists, ration dealers, workers at petrol bunk, seed dealers, LPG Cylinder delivery boys and others on Friday and Saturday.

Siddipet: Zilla Parishad Chairperson V Roja Sharma has said the government has made all arrangements to inoculate over 5,000 potential spreaders of Coronavirus across the district within a couple of days.

Speaking after launching the vaccination drive for potential spreaders at Urban Primary Health Centre at Narsarpura in Siddipet on Friday, the ZP Chairman said that they will vaccinate journalists, ration dealers, workers at petrol bunk, seed dealers, LPG Cylinder delivery boys and others on Friday and Saturday. She has hoped that the effort will considerably contain the spread of the Covid-19 in the district.


Additional Collector Muzammil Khan said that they were carrying out the vaccination drive at 26 Health Centres across the district. Saying that they have vaccinated to 2,989 on Friday, the Additonal Collector said that the will vaccinate the remaining 2,021 on Saturday at these health centres.

Meanwhile, the district administration of Medak, which also launched the vaccination drive on Friday, will inoculate 3,119 potential virus spreaders across the district.

Similarily, the vaccination drive for potential virus spreaders was carried out at 17 PHCs across Sangareddy district.
