Kothagudem: District Collector D Anudeep directed officials to speed up works taken up with SCA, CSR and DMFT funds in the district. The Collector held a meeting with police, DRDA, ITDA and representatives of different companies here on Friday to review the progress of works launched with Special Central Assistance (SCA), Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) and District Mineral Foundation Trust (DMFT) funds.

He told officials to furnish photographic evidence of works before and after their completion along with works reports to be submitted to the District Rural Development Officer (DRDO). Similarly, utilisation certificates have to be submitted for the allotted funds.

Anudeep suggested the companies obtain prior permission from him for the CSR works. He wanted the DEO E Somashekara Sharma to submit a report on the status of digital classroom maintenance being done with CSR funds.

Referring to the construction of Anganwadi buildings going on with CSR funds, he said buildings that were completed have to be handed over to concerned departments while asking the District Welfare Officer Varalakshmi not to take possession of incomplete buildings.

The Collector told the officials to complete the ongoing construction of gram panchayat buildings with SCA funds by next February. Officials concerned have to focus on maintaining quality in all construction works and reports on quality control have to be submitted.

DRDO Madhusudhana Raju, DRO Ashosk Chakravarthy, Panchayat EE Sudhakar, Mission Bhagiratha EE Tirumalesh, CPO Srinivas Rao, officials from SCCL, Power Grid Corporation of India, ITC, Nava Bharat and others were present.
