According to reports, a family was crossing the road near Inamguda when a speeding container lorry struck them.

Hyderabad: A man died while his wife and two children suffered injuries when a container lorry hit them at Abdullapurmet on the city outskirts on Sunday evening.

According to reports, a family comprising Srinivas (48), his wife Lakshmi (45), and their two children Rambabu (17) and Rajeshwari (19) were crossing the road near Inamguda when a speeding container lorry struck them.

Consequently, Srinivas sustained grievous injuries and died on the spot while the other three family members escaped with injuries.

Upon receiving the information, the police arrived at the scene and shifted the injured to a hospital while the mortal remains of Srinivas were moved to a mortuary. The police have launched an investigation.
