Hyderabad: The spirit of Punjab came alive at the Grand Baishakhi Mela 2025, hosted by the Telangana Punjabi Sabha in association with the Telangana Tourism Development Corporation Ltd., as the official Hospitality Partner, at Novotel HICC.

The evening reached a crescendo with a soul-stirring live performance by the legendary Punjabi singer Gurdas Maan, who captivated the audience with his timeless voice and heartfelt melodies. Shashi Dhiman from Chandigarh had the crowd in splits with her rib-tickling comedy act, while a dance troupe from Patiala set the floor ablaze with vibrant Bhangra and graceful Gidda performances.

Ravinder Singh Sarna, President, Telangana Punjabi Sabha, said, “Baisakhi is not just a celebration; it is a vibrant celebration of new beginning, prosperity and the enrichment of our cultural roots. It reminds of the values we endear, hard work, resilience, joy and above all community bonding.”

The event witnessed enthusiastic participation from the Punjabi community across Hyderabad, Telangana, Andhra Pradesh and Karnataka.
