Sports Authority of Telangana to organise Olympic Day Run celebrations
The celebrations are aimed at igniting the Olympic Spirit among youth athletes to create Sports awareness in the society.
Hyderabad: Sports Authority of Telangana is organising six-day Olympic Day celebrations till June 23 to “ignite the Olympic Spirit among youth athletes to create Sports awareness in the society”. According to the SATG schedule following is the list of activities:
June 19: Let’s Move” with sports to promote Health & Unity Intra – Competition in sports disciplines available in their respective facilities / stadia

June 21: Let’s Move” with International Yoga Day Yogasana, plantation in their respective facilities / stadia
June 22: Sports – Final in Intra – competitions in their respective facilities / stadia
June 23: International Olympic Day Run at State / Districts
On Wednesday, the SATG conducted walkathon, running, zumba, cleaning premises with focus on plastic free zone facilities in all the SATG stadia in the twin cities and in all the district headquarters.
