Hyderabad: Centuries by Aaron George (111, 69b, 19×4, 2×6) and Wafi Kachchhi (164 n.o., 152b, 22×4, 1×6) helped Hyderabad trounce Himachal Pradesh by 229 runs in the Vinoo Mankad Trophy (under-19) cricket championship fifth round match at Dehradun on Friday.

Batting first, Hyderabad scored 392 for four in 50 overs, and in reply, Himachal Pradesh folded up for 163 with Yashveer (four for 41) being the lead wicket-taker.


The scores: Hyderabad 392/4 in 50 overs (Aaron George 111, Wafi Kachchhi 164 no, R. Alankrith 50) bt Himachal Pradesh 163/10 in 32.4 overs (Aditya Kataria 35, Naunihal 30, Yashveer 4/41).

Hyderabad: Odisha fought back brilliantly in the second innings after conceding the vital first innings lead against Hyderabad in the Col CK Nayudu Trophy (under-23) cricket championship first round match at Rajiv Gandhi Stadium (Uppal) here on Friday.
The scores: Odisha 159 in 52 overs & 181/2 in 63 overs (Sasanka 35, Om 98 batting) vs Hyderabad 195 in 56.3 overs (Amanda 90, Ayush K Barik 8.45).

Hyderabad: Maisram Stars FC drubbed Feelkhana FC 7-0 in the TFA B-Division football league championship for Shivkumar Lal Trophy at Gymkhana Ground here on Friday.
Saqib Khan, Sohail (2), Pratik Hemat (2), Owais Shaker, and Ali bin Sayeed were the scorers.

Hyderabad: BITS Hyderabad scored a 65-51 win against KPHB after leading 45-25 at half-time to qualify for the knock-out phase of the Hyderabad District annual basketball league championship for G.M. Sampath Kumar Trophy at YMCA Secunderabad here on Friday.
The scores: BITS, Hyderabad 65 (Pranav 19, Patil 16, Kommasani 12, Guntuka 11) bt KPHB 51 (Sai 21, Srikanth 17).
Victory PG 59 (Balu 10, Mohan 14, Vamshi 10) bt Sunday Ballers 42 (Harish 13, Sai 10).

TCA names members on Governing Council

Hyderabad: The Telangana Cricket Association (TCA) has announced its newly elected Governing Council and Apex Council for the three-year term 2025–2028, marking a new era of inclusive and representative leadership across the State.

D.K. Aruna will preside the Governing Council as Chairperson, while Shri B.B. Patil has been elected as the President of TCA.

Dharam Guruva Reddy, the driving force and backbone of TCA, assumes the key role of General Secretary.

Dr. P. Vijay Chander Reddy has been elevated to Vice President from his earlier position as Treasurer, and Dr. Teegala Harinath Reddy takes charge as Treasurer, with Praveen Admala as Joint Secretary.
