Sports Briefs: RSB Hyderabad football team named for AICS tournament in Goa

RSB Hyderabad named its squad led by Mohammad Moazzam for the All India Civil Services football tournament in Goa. Former India forward Md Rahmatullah passed away in Los Angeles. TFA also announced a meeting for C-Division League managers on December 6

Hyderabad: Mohammad Moazzam will lead the Regional Services Board (Hyderabad) team that will take part in the All India Civil Services football tournament at Tiswadi (Goa) from December 8 to 15.

The team: Reddi Raji Naidu, Kumaru Hari Babu, Shafique E Mohammed, P Tatam Naidu, Raja Deb Nath, Haik Umair, P D Emanuel, R R Sai Rakesh, Syed Abbad Anas, Lucky Imran, Vikas Yadav, Annamreddy Naidu, Jabri Faisal Bin Osman, Y Krishna Reddy, Md Moazzam (capt), Mohd Murtuza Hussain, Syed Abid Hussain Razvi, K Madan, P D Joshua, T David Prasanna Kumar, G Srikanth, Habeeb Khan. Manager: Iqbal Ali. Coach: G Surender Babu.


 

Ex-international footballer Rahmatullah no more

Hyderabad: Former international footballer Md Rahmatullah of Hyderabad passed away in Los Angeles on Wednesday after a prolonged illness.

He represented India in the 1958 Tokyo Asian Games.

 

TFA meeting on C-Division League

Hyderabad:  The Telangana Football Association has convened a meeting of the managers of the C-Division teams on December 6 at the LB Stadium TFA office at 6 pm.

All managers of the teams taking part in the C-Division League are invited to discuss key matters and updates pertaining to the League, TFA secretary G Palguna said.
