A spotted deer that strayed out of the forest was injured in a stray dog attack near Jeedipally village in Manoharabad mandal of Medak district. Farmers rescued the animal and handed it over to forest officials for treatment

Medak: A spotted deer that accidentally strayed out of the forest was injured in a stray dog attack on the forest fringe near Jeedipally village in Manoharabad mandal on Monday.
Farmers rescued the deer from the stray dogs and alerted forest officials. They also offered drinking water to the injured wild animal. To protect it from further injuries, as it was in panic, the farmers tied its two legs and handed it over to the forest officials.
The officials will release the deer after providing treatment for its injuries.
