SR University faculty member gets PhD from JNTUH
According to a press release by the SRU, Harshavardhan did his research on A New Framework for Brain Tumor Detection and Classification in MRI Images.
Warangal Urban: The Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University-Hyderabad (JNTUH) awarded a PhD degree to research scholar Harshavardhan Awari of Computer Science and Engineering (CSE) Department of SR University (SRU), Warangal.
According to a press release by the SRU, Harshavardhan did his research on ‘A New Framework for Brain Tumor Detection and Classification in MRI Images’ under the supervision of Prof D Suresh Babu, an Assistant Professor and Head of the Department (HoD) of Computer Science (CS), Kakatiya Government College, Hanamkonda, and Professor and Head Department of CSE, JNTUH, CEJ, Kondagattu, Jagitial Venugopal.
“Brain tumor detection and classification accuracy are improved using New Framework, MCLAHE, and MPCA. This procedure is used to detect the presence of a tumor in an MRI image and classify it as a benign tumor or malignant tumor,” Harshavardhan said.
