Hyderabad: The Career Development Center (CDC) of Sreenidhi Institute of Science and Technology (SNIST) organised HackWave 2025, a 24-hour national-level hackathon that brought together innovators, developers, and problem-solvers from across India.

The event inspired creativity and practical innovation through technology-driven solutions for real-world challenges. The hackathon showcased Sreenidhi’s vision of nurturing a culture of innovation and excellence with the guidance and leadership of Abhijit Rao Katikaneni, CEO, SNIST.


Participant teams collaborated to design and develop prototypes in domains such as FinTech, Healthcare, Education, and Open Innovation, with mentorship from industry experts.

The panel of judges featured Om Ashish Mishra (Product Scientist, Deloitte; IIT Kanpur alumnus), Sonu Kumar (Co-founder, Sporo Health), Kalyan Prasad (Senior Advisor, Kaggle), and Vikas Katragadda (Founder, Naandi Ventures; BITS Pilani alumnus).

The event was attended by Anjani Prabhakar, Executive Director, Hexagon Capability Center, and Dr. Ramesh Kanneganti, Vasudeva Rao Yellapu Group Director, CDC, Sreenidhi Institute of Science and Technology and Sreenidhi University.
