Hyderabad: Sreenidi Deccan FC will host Aizawl FC in its penultimate home game of the Indian Football League Phase 1 at the Deccan Arena here on Sunday.
In the previous game, the Deccan Warriors played out a goalless draw at home against Shillong Lajong FC, while the visitors lost 4-2 away to Gokulam Kerala FC.
Speaking ahead of the game, head coach Carlos Vaz Pinto said, “Aizawl FC are a team who have scored the most goals so far in the league. In this league, every game presents its own challenges, and tomorrow against Aizawl FC will be another competitive match.”
Forward Fabrice Kah, who currently leads the goal-scoring tally for the Deccan Warriors, added, “As a team, we have been trying to push ourselves to get better across all departments. Tomorrow’s game is important, and we are confident of winning and getting the three points.”
