Sri Saanvi wins under-14 and under-17 titles at Telangana State table tennis championship
Sri Saanvi of SPARS Academy bagged a double, winning the under-14 and under-17 girls titles at the 12th Stag Telangana State and Inter-district Table Tennis Championship in Moinabad. Varun Shanker and Varuni Jaiswal won the men’s and women’s titles
Hyderabad: Sri Saanvi of SPARS Academy bagged a double, winning the girls under-14 and under-17 titles in the 12th Stag Telangana State and Inter-district Table Tennis Championship at Firefox Sports and Resorts (Moinabad) near here on Monday.
Saanvi defeated S Gayathri Krishna of Gujarati Seva Mandal 9-11, 11-5, 8-11, 11-9, 11-2 in the under-17 final and recorded a 15-13, 12-10, 11-5 win against G Vyshnavi of Anandnagar Welfare Academy in the under-15 final.
B Varun Shanker (SGUTTA) and Varuni Jaiswal of Gujarati Seva Mandal won the men’s and women’s titles respectively.
Mr Vijay Kumar Raju, Director Firefox Sports & Resort, Mr P Nagender Reddy, Secretary TSTTA, Mr Amrulla Dastani, Vice-President TSTTA, Mr B Vijay Kumar, Vice-President TSTTA, and coaches Koride Sreedhar and M Venugopal were present at the valedictory function.
