Hyderabad: The Sri Venkateswara Swamy Pushpayagam was celebrated with devotion and spiritual fervor on Thursday at Hyderabad Jubilee Hills SV Temple. On the occasion, the temple was filled with the divine fragrance of flowers, creating a serene and devotional atmosphere for devotees.
The annual Brahmotsavams were conducted in the temple from February 17 to 25. As per sacred tradition, Pushpayagam is performed after the completion of Brahmotsavams to seek divine forgiveness for any known or unknown lapses that might have occurred during the daily rituals and festival celebrations by priests, staff, officials, or devotees.
Vedic rituals were performed in the Yagasala and later Snapana Tirumanjanam was conducted to the processional deities of Sri Kalyana Venkateswara Swamy along with Sridevi and Bhudevi. The deities were ceremoniously bathed with milk, curd, honey, coconut water, turmeric, and sandal paste, and were beautifully adorned. The Pushpayagam was held with 12 varieties of flowers and six types of sacred leaves offered to the Lord.
